I begin in the
sport with 7 years old, always with the support of my father and
grand-father, even though they had another hobbies, the
fantasy pigeons, my first
pigeons were taked in the harbour, pigeons that came in
the boat from England,
that pigeons origin of the races from the Chanel to
England, losted.
I was cultivated these pigeons for a lot of year, but
never raced, only I was training
from the different places on the Island, for some needs
for to help my family, I had
that word, and I had not time for my pigeons. The truth
is that 20 years later, when
I had 27 years old I put some lofts in ARTEATA - FATAGA,
and I started for
purchase some pigeons through Mr. Cayetano (TANO for his friends).
I imported
pigeons from BELGIUM, HOLLAND, GERMANY, through his and pigeons
from
his own loft, the famous white head (PELIKANO) some give a big
result,
especially a cock DELBAR and a hen Catresy, the cock of the Mr. Cayetano
and the
hen imported, both with big result, crossing his son and grand-son,
with the rest of
the purchases, with grand success.
In 1989 I requested the racing license in the Club
Ansite (Vecindario), begining the
races with my pigeons, losted a lot, because I have not
time for the training.
In July 1994 had incorporated to the lofts, a
collaborator . who in
a litle time
gave a turn very important in the lofts, by the changes
of temperature and heights
from the lofts base to the AMURGA cliffs in front ad
the LAS MESAS cliffs behind
with 980 metres heigh.
In the next season, year 1995, the team begin to work
with the effort of the
collaborator and mine, and we get extraordinary results.
The season 1995, we had big success, afterwards some
years without to have
never in the sport.
In this time were some championship in spring, fond,
and social, and in this way till
1999 that begin to race in the CLUB COLOMBÓFILO
GUAYADEQUE, with the first
loft, the second loft is racing at the name my daugther
ARIADNA, in the Club Ansite,
and in the year 1999, were champions, in both clubs.
In the year 2000 we have a problems with a wather
contamination, and in the middle
of the season we had force to retire due to a illnes
that was very difficult eradicate.
In the year 2001 turn to races, and with grand success
also.
Ours triumphs are relly important in a short time, and
they are the consecution of
the differents circunstances, such our own line, the
FIOL, who the time and cares that
we had give during theese years, for to have the fruit
of this work team, the quality
of pigeons that I have for to obtain our own line of
pigeons.
